這款高性能金屬計時手錶是 EDIFICE 和 Honda Racing 的第二款聯乘產品。
Honda Racing 為一級方程式賽車車隊 Scuderia Toro Rosso 提供動力裝置；而 EDIFICE 則為日本品牌，不斷迎接世界各地賽車運動所帶來的挑戰——雙方均常於一級方程式世界頂級賽事中亮相。此系列聯乘產品型號則由我們與 HRD Sakura 研發中心共同開發。HRD Sakura 研發中心致力研發本田賽車運動技術。
EQB-1000HRS 是 EDIFICE 首款使用鋁化鈦物料製作錶圈的錶款；這種物料亦會用作製造引擎閥門，而引擎閥門是本田一級方程式賽車動力裝置的重要部件。EQB-1000HRS 錶圈的外層處理工序，與本田一級方程式賽車引擎閥門相同。這款手錶無疑等同裝備了與 Honda Racing 車隊同款的賽車部件。
閥門必須能夠承受引擎燃燒室內不斷爆炸所形成的壓力。同時，閥門必須平衡耐熱性、硬度和低慣性重量的需要，以實現往復運動，達到每秒運轉 100 次以上的速度。鋁化鈦物料除可實現高速運轉，其輕巧耐用的特性亦適合製作 EDIFICE 等優質手錶。EQB-1000HRS 錶圈鍍有與本田一級方程式賽車引擎燃燒室內部相同的類鑽碳 (DLC) 塗層，能夠保護引擎內部免受磨損，同時令手錶極為防刮。此型號的尼龍錶帶加入了克維拉合成纖維，耐磨效果出色，並採用了與 Honda Racing 車隊標誌顏色相同的紅色。
EQB-1000HRS 手錶錶面採用紅黑色漸變設計，靈感源自火花點燃引擎氣缸內燃料的瞬間。
此錶款的原型為高規格纖薄計時手錶 EQB-1000。僅 8.9 毫米的纖薄錶殼裡配備了 Bluetooth® 智能手機連接功能、Tough Solar 太陽能電力系統（可讓手錶在日光燈下充電） 和計時功能。成品更纖薄輕巧、效能強大，而且佩戴時舒適貼合。
手機連接能實現許多實用賽車功能特點，包括高度精確的計時功能、輕易從 300 個世界時間城市中進行選擇、將 200 圈時間紀錄從手錶轉移到手機、以 1/1000 秒爲單位記錄時間等。一級方程式賽車遵守嚴格比賽規則，同時需要面對無法預測的情況，包括惡劣天氣和撞車意外等。時間無疑是賽事關鍵，需要精確至以秒為單位測量；車隊故此需要爭分奪秒，避免在比賽開始時超過規定起步時間而遭受處罰。世界時間功能同樣重要——Honda Racing 一級方程式賽車車手需要參加全球 21 場賽事，同時身處日本的研發團隊保持聯繫。
